After months and months of planning, the day finally arrived! I said to Emily when I showed up to the house that I couldn’t believe how fast the day had come! It feels like it was just last week that I met with them in the cafe to discuss their wedding plans and now here we are – already writing up their blog post and posting their images.
Emily & Andrew’s day was nothing short of spectacular. I think everyone’s mouths dropped open when we showed up at the venue and saw everything perfectly laid out. There were gasps and “oohs” and “ahhhs” and I even heard someone say “This wedding is straight off of Pinterest!” From the stunning florals to the gold chiavari chairs, to the donut wall and the draping blooms – every aspect of the day was like a dream come true. And I must admit that the photographer in me did a happy dance when I saw Emily’s long flowy veil! (Prepare for a tonne of veil shots, people!!) The best man HANDMADE the gorgeous marquee sign and it was for sure a highlight of the reception – almost everyone got a photo in front of it! And that donut wall!! Are you kidding me?! So gorgeous & delicious!
On a back road in Newmarket you will find the hidden gem that is Madsens Greenhouse. I had never been there before but I had heard only great things, and one quick google images search had me absolutely dying over the beauty of the venue and seeing it in person is 100x better. The ceremony space has to be one of my favorite sections, and makes for a stunning backdrop for saying ‘I do’. I feel so honored that I was able to be a part of this day and both Kailey and I had an amazing time capturing these images in such an awesome location. Emily & Andrew were amazing to work with and pulled off one of the most amazing weddings I have had the honor of being a witness to. Congratulations you two and enjoy your honeymoon!!
