Emily & Jason’s wedding was a dream. I was absolutely blown away when I saw Emily’s wedding dress for the first time – seriously stunning! The decorations for the reception were so beautiful and matched perfectly with the bridemaids dresses and the gorgeous bouquets. We had a few hours set aside to take photos at a beautiful location in Leaskdale – it was perfect. I could have spent all day there taking photos of this stunning bridal party, and of course, their fur baby, Walter! Everything about their wedding went so smoothly and I enjoyed every minute spent with Emily & Jason & their family and friends. The food was delicious, the music was amazing – I didn’t want the day to end. During the reception, one of my brides from last year approached me, gave me a hug and proceeded to tell me how much she loved her wedding images that I had taken for them. She told me that she had her photos displayed all around her house and that they were her favourite part about her wedding day. I was so honoured. I am always judging my work and often feel as though I’m not good enough to continue being a wedding photographer – but moments like that make me want to keep going and continue doing what I love.
