This wedding was a long time comin’! I met with them in early 2017 and just seemed to run into these two everywhere! First I photographed her sister-in-laws wedding, then her best friends’ wedding, then their engagement session, then a family photo session with her soon to be in laws! Finally, in June, it was their turn to get married!! We started out at Sylvia’s mom’s house which had stunning front yard. I could have photographed their all day. We even got the chance to get a photo with Sylvia’s show cow, Zoey! How adorable! And checkout that Mori Lee dress!! What a dream!
The ceremony took place at the groom’s family dairy farm in Sunderland. A lot of hard work went into making the upper part of the barn wedding ready! Worth it? I’d say! And how adorable that they had an ice cream truck come in during cocktail hour! Very fitting considering both of them LOVE ice cream. It was so amazing to have a cold cone on a hot summer day. The ice cream truck was definitely one of the highlights of the day for me! We even trucked out into the cow field to get some shots with the cows which resulted in some poop on the dress, which didn’t phase Sylvia. Just hosed er’ off and kept going!
We headed to Wooden Sticks for the reception which was full of personal touches and DIY’s done by the bride. And not to mention that donut wall! I had been anticipating this wedding with these two for so long, and they did not disappoint! I had an amazing time all day and I hope that you guys enjoy your photos!
Congratulations Sylvia & David!
